Educating Women

Women are more passionate than ever about learning and gaining independence, and are dominating college campuses nationwide, accounting for 55% of undergraduates enrolled at four-year colleges.  Meanwhile, women are also starting businesses at two-times the rate of men, are breadwinners or co-breadwinners in 60% of households in the US, and are going to inherit 70% of the anticipated $1 trillion in intergenerational wealth transfers.  At Taylor Financial Group, we wholeheartedly support women in their quest for knowledge, and endeavor to help educate women of all ages about financial planning.  With this thought in mind, we launched a Women & Investing Network (WIN) Workshop Series in January 2017 with the goal of providing what we believe to be a much-needed community service – to educate and empower women to take charge of their future!

The workshop series was received with such enthusiasm and interest, that we expanded the series to include Weeknight Encore Workshops open to all, allowing married couples, sons and daughters, and other family members to attend these workshops together.  It has been such a blessing and honor to be able to provide this free service for people to learn about all aspects of financial planning, including Retirement Planning, Investment Planning, Estate Planning, Insurance Planning, Social Security, and Budget Planning, among other topics that we continue to develop.  In fact, many of the topics that we cover in our workshops are influenced by the questions and comments we receive from our audience.

In the first half of 2017 (our Spring Semester), we held a total of 13 workshops, with up to 60 women attending some of the workshops, including many who returned month after month.  We are SO excited that these workshops have been able to help so many, and we look forward to continuing our workshop series in the Fall Season.

However, our mission to help educate women does not simply end with our workshops.  As always, we encourage any prospects or clients to contact us with questions, whether through phone or email. Furthermore, we encourage prospects and clients to schedule a meeting where we can fully discuss any questions or concerns they may have.
