Debbie always knew she wanted to build a career that would allow her to help people. After graduating from Drew University with a B.A. in Political Science, magna cum laude, Debbie obtained her law degree from Cornell Law School. Then, after working several years as an associate at one of the largest law firms in New Jersey, Debbie realized that the inherently adversarial practice of law inhibited her from being able to help people the way she truly wanted to. So, Debbie returned to her roots, and became a Certified Public Accountant so that she could work in her family’s accounting practice. It was at that time that Debbie began working in personal finance and discovered her true path to helping people. Since that time, 20 years ago, Debbie has taken her unique background and experience as an attorney and a CPA, and she has moved on to the next chapter – providing end-to-end financial advice to a wonderful group of women.
Debbie has worn a lot of hats throughout her life. Professionally, she has been a student, an attorney, an accountant, and a financial advisor. Personally, she has been a daughter, a sister, a wife, and a proud mother of three beautiful children. There’s no doubt that Debbie’s experience juggling both career and family have given her a special perspective on life — one that helps her understand the varying needs and goals that women have.
